We take pride in producing, selling, and installing natural veneer stone products with an unmatched quality. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Estimator Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our Estimator with accurate project cost assessments and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Job Responsibilities:
Support in Project Analysis and Estimation:
●  Assist in reviewing project specifications, architectural drawings, and related documentation to understand the project scope.
●  Help gather necessary information by evaluating site measurements and materials.
●  Support the calculation of material quantities for stone veneer, hearths, sills, fireplaces, and other related products.
●  Assist in compiling comprehensive and precise cost estimates under the Estimator's guidance.

Vendor and Cost Management:
●  Help obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
●  Assist in building and maintaining relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms.
●  Stay informed about material costs and availability to aid in accurate estimating.

Administrative and Record Keeping:
●  Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
●  Assist in managing a database of historical project costs to guide future estimates.
●  Support the analysis of completed projects to compare estimated versus actual costs, identifying improvement areas.

Collaboration and Professional Development:
●  Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure project alignment.
●  Communicate with clients to support estimation inquiries.
●  Engage in training and professional development to enhance skills, with opportunities to learn estimation software and tools.

Qualifications: 
●  Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
●  Experience or interest in the construction industry.
●  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
●  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
●  Willingness to learn estimation software and tools.
